A custom t-shirt quilt is really the perfect gift for any occasion, one that will be used and cherished for years. It is a great way to preserve the multitudes of t-shirts that all of us seem to collect throughout our lives. There is nothing more painful than the idea of parting from a much loved, comfortably worn and emotionally meaningful t-shirt. Now you don't have to!
A t-shirt quilt is also a wonderful gift to yourself. All my work is custom and can be a collaboration between us, in terms of color and fabric designs. Or, if you prefer, you can just hand your shirts over and I would be happy to make all the color and fabric selections myself. I have recently increased the size of my design wall and can now make quilts as large as 65" x65" My standard size is about 60"x60" and sells for $875.00, depending on the amount of detail.

The following quilt was created as a 16th birthday gift for a serious young equestrian. Many of the shirts reflect her love of riding. I used some horse themed fabrics as well as lots of orange, her favorite color. The back of this quilt is an embroidered fleece horse blanket, earned at one of her special events. (60"x60")
This is my first large scale t-shirt quilt. It measures 4x5 and is backed with minky, a very soft fleece that looks and feels like velvet or velour. The t-shirts were provided by my client. The quilt was a gift for her son; we selected the fabrics with his sensibilities in mind. The more interesting your t-shirts, the more graphic your quilt, although even simple t-shirts can be jazzed up with fun fabric. I will work with your preferred colors, or use the colors in the t-shirts as a jumping off point.
This is a pillow sham created with just 4 baby t-shirts. I had previously made a wall quilt for this baby, so I was able to use many of the same fabrics.

The quilt below was created for a couple who had worked for Exxon-Mobil for over 25 years. There are many, many tiny logos, taken from t-shirts, jackets, polo shirts and other items.
This wonderful client sent me large quantities of fabric as well as t-shirts. It is a thrill and a challenge to fit them all together in a way that works! This measures about 60"x60". The quilts below were also created for this same client, with her wonderful fabric contributions. They each measure about 60"x60".
